Sampige Triangle Kannada Association


Sampige is a registered non-profit association for the people who are originally from Karnataka, a state in South India but now residing in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The Triangle area comprises of RTP, Raleigh, Durham,Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, and the surrounding cities in North Carolina USA.

Sampige preserves and promotes the rich culture, heritage, language, and music from Karnataka. It establishes a common forum for the people from Karnataka to meet and interact. Kannada is the primary language spoken by the people from Karnataka. Sampige organizes kannada cultural activities in music, dance, and drama. Social activities include picnics, games, and celebration of festivals.

Sampige has a newsletter distributed to all the members. We encourage members to send articles and short stories to be included in the newsletter. We also invite people to take an active part by showing their talent and skills in different activities.
