Carolina Navika 2015

Meravanige, (Procession) has a lot more prominence than “A group of people walking together”. It plays a prominent role in any convention/conference in providing a festive environment representing the tradition and culture of a place/society.

It gives us an immense pleasure to celebrate “Navika 3^rd World Kannada Summit 2015” in Raleigh, North Carolina between 4^th and 6^th September 2015. As part of this celebration, ‘Meravanige’ is being held on 5^th of September which starts from the Red Hat Amphitheater and conclude at the Ball Room of Raleigh Convention Center.  Guests, dignitaries and artists from various parts including the US Surgeon General, Local Mayors, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Film Actors/Actress, Laureates will take part in this procession which comprise of colorful tableaus, dance groups, music bands, decorated chariot etc.

It would be an honor for every Kannada Association in America to participate in this Meravanige. Let us all join hands together and make it a memorable event!

2015ರ ನಾವಿಕ 3ನೇ ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮಾವೇಶವು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 4 ರಿಂದ 6 ರವರೆಗೆ ಕ್ಯಾರೋಲೈನ ರಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ. ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಮೆರಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಹರುಷದ ಸಂಗತಿ. ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ  ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮೆರೆಸಿದ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಸರ್ಜನ್ ಜನರಲ್ ರವರು ಹಾಗು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

3 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತ, ನೃತ್ಯ, ಹಾಸ್ಯ, ಕಲೆ, ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಸುರಿಮಳೆಯೇ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಸುಸಂದರ್ಭದ ಒಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಅಂಗ “ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ“. ಇದು 2ನೇ ದಿನವಾದ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5 ನೇ ತಾರೀಖು ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಗಳು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಕರೆನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ಇದೊಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸದಾವಕಾಶ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಒಂದು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ವಿನೂತನ ಮೆರಗನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ಆಶಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೂಟದ ಹೆಸರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಶಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ವಿಜ್ರುಂಭಣೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಬನ್ನಿ, ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಿಂದ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆರೆಯೋಣ.
