ಹಾಸ್ಯ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಒ೦ದು ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅ೦ಗ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಒ೦ದು ಸ್ವತ೦ತ್ರ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರ ಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ. ನಿ೦ತಾಡುವ ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ದೂರದರ್ಶನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಈಗ ಇದು ಕೋಟ್ಯ೦ತರ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳ ಉದ್ಯಮವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ. ಇ೦ದಿನ ನಿ೦ತಾಡುವ ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಸಮಾಜದ ಕೆಲವು ಗ೦ಭೀರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ, ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ವಿಡ೦ಬನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವಲೋಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನಿ೦ದ ಮತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಮೇರಿಕದಿ೦ದ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನಗೆಯ ಕಡಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಾಡಿಸಲು ನಾವಿಕ 2015 ಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಬನ್ನಿ ಆನ೦ದಿಸಿ.
Comedy has always been an integral part of our cultural expression. It has evolved from being a part of the overall act into a performance in its own right. Between stage performances and TV shows, this has grown into a multi-billion dollar industry. Stand-up comedy nowadays addresses some of the sticky social and political issues in a way that is comic but at the same time enlightening. Summit NAVIKA 2015 is glad to play host to the world’s best Kannada stand-up comedians who are witty, contemporary, and downright funny!
